ヴィア ビア オオサカ（VIA BEER OSAKA）

This is a different type of review. I frequented here at least 4 or 5 times a week. I always had the rib and a dark beer. I felt like they enjoyed my patronism and then one day and they were having a rough time sitting guests. It was busy but many tables and the counter was open. There was one per...son, a group of 4 and 2 were standing in line and I showed up. You could see that the hostess was having issues sitting people and I was trying to help because I had been there for many times but she said the one person at a table of four. I had asked him earlier and he was only one. With the mele, I became frustrated and said I was not returning as they had a total breakdown in service. Without sounding like a selfish ass, I as a returning customer for almost one year many times a month would think since they had my business cards would give me a call and explain the situation, and ask for me to return. Though I walked by once a month and they saw me they still did not call me or walk out to say anything to me. The other day I went by and asked them from the door if they did not want me to return and the manager looked at me as if he was all pissed off. So I said okay, 'I won't be returning'. Now, as an ex food and beverage manager that has opened multiple restaurants, this is how I look at things. If I ever have a disgruntled guest, that is the time that I know I have a chance of grabbing a long-term guest by contacting them, apologizing for whatever happened, and asking them to come in again. Again, as they have had my business card for a long time, and they have seen me walk by, what WAS my status as a 'guest'? Was I someone to make a thousand yen a week off of or was I someone important to them and we can see how that turned out. It is what it is. Menu is nothing special. Just was a good place to hang out. Maybe the Manager is the issue.

Stopped by to wait for the next train. Had the Mango beer. tasted great. Had English menu. Close to track 15-16 in the Shine Osaka station

This is a great place to sit back and drink good beer. The prices are high and the measures low for European standards, but they are quite normal for Japan. Best of all, the beer is perfectly pulled at the perfect temperature. The tables are a little wobbly, so make sure you don't tip over your glas...s by mistake, as we did. Though even then, the great staff replaced our beer at no extra cost. I'd call this place a little oasis, and would recommend it wholeheartedly.
