We parked our car in Senri Hankyu Hotel, had lunch at a Chinese restaurant there, visited Expo '70 Commemorative Park, returned to the hotel, and had a cup of coffee at Chagall. As we felt thirsty, I wished they had served a larger cup of coffee.

Breakfasts were good value with so many options available and easy option while staying upstairs in the hotel.

Only a few minutes from the Senri Hankyu hotel in Osaka there is a large shopping mall associated with the Senri Chuo subway and Monorail stations, and we ate there much of the time. However one wet evening we didn't want to go out and my wife spotted that the Chagall restaurant in our hotel offered... a half-price buffet from 9.00 pm on, for guests who reserved in advance. We did, and had an excellent and very good value dinner. There was a huge amount of choice, from starters through mains to desserts, and good coffee to finish off. I believe this is a standard offering at the Chagall, and certainly one to look out for.

This is the hotel restaurant, which hosts the breakfast buffet, and they do for dinner as well as, along with a menu for the evening meals. The choices were OK, but the quality was just fair, and they seemed to be slow to keep the buffet stocked when items were depleted. Also it was quite expensiv...e (3200 JPY). Breakfast was better with a reasonable selection of western and Japanese style breakfast foods, along with an omelet chef to handle made-to-order selections. My recommendation is that it is OK for breakfast, but the dinner buffet is less attractive, and given the price, the local outside restaurant choices are a far better value.
