A really nice and relaxed Japanese food bar. Food prepared in front. Great choice with a lot of seafood and tempura in the mix. Reasonable price. Great service. Very tasty dishes. Sake by the small jug. No wine. Chefs know their stuff.

Small wonderful little Sushi bar and a reasonable price. Up there with the best lunch we had on our trip. Everything hand made.

I was looking for a place to eat my first night in Osaka. Had done my homework, found a few recommended places but then passed this place and looked in the window. It was beautiful and there were lots of people at the small wrap around bar. It looked inviting so in I went. It was AMAZING. The server...s and the chef were so welcoming. The chef even used google translate to communicate with me and then sent me "present" dishes to try, along with sake recommendations. I was there alone but felt so comfortable and welcome. The food was incredible. I stated with a complimentary soft tofu dish topped with sea urchin, then sashimi, tempura, fish cakes and sake along with a cold chicken and mushroom dish, again presented to me but the chef. All of it was so delicious. And all presented on an incredible collection of ceramic bowls and plates. My favorite food experience in Osaka. I will definitely go back.

Night one of a week in Osaka. Flew in late and even though I was in business class the airline food was very bad (thanks for nothing Jetstar). So I needed an uncomplicated late dinner of quality Japanese to get my taste buds back in tune with the usual high standard of Japanese cooking. I chose ...this place based upon a hunch, no more. Not expensive. So I had the plate of sushi and a tempura plate washed down with sake. Exactly what I needed. Friendly staff with spot on service. Couldn’t ask for more. This is not a Michelin star restaurant. It just serves well prepared fresh produce at a fair price. And you sit at the bar and watch it all happen in front of you.

We were wondering around the area trying to find a place for lunch and accidentally found this wonderful place. We had 3 of the set lunch menus and found them to be some of the best food we have had in Japan during this visit (and excellent value for the quality of the food). My son said this was th...e best karaage he had ever had (8 year old karaage expert!). They recommended some excellent sake to go with the meal. Overall excellent service (although only in Japanese) and excellent food. Highly recommended. (Ps... there was something expensive on our bill, not sure whether it was the sake or a seating charge, but the food was beautiful and this was most important to me).
