When you think of Japanese ramen or udon, you pretty much have a traditional mindset of what it is. Not this one, the soup of the udon has such s European favor that will blow your mind. It tastes so good, carbonara udon, lemon pork etc. Similar to all popular eating place in japan, they is a queu...e but they are very efficient and the service is attentive.

In the lower level of Daimaru luxury department store, you will find a dazzling market with a fine choice of cafes and restaurants. My own favorite is Top Chefs -- with its' exciting contemporary versions of traditional Japanese seafood and noodle dishes. You can enjoy wine by the glass w...hich is another "plus". Alwqys a small but tempting dessert selection---- otherwise not far from Top Chefs you will be able to indulge in the divine chocolate beverages and desserts at the Osaka branch of Brussel's Wittmaer cafe and cbocolate shop.

Very good eat right on the B2F of Umeda Daimaru West Wing where they sell fresh fruits and veggies. The open restaurant is clean and well-lit, where customers seat on high stools facing a bench surrounding the kitchen. Staff is fluent in English and the udon they serve is of their own production. Th...e udon come in a variety of sauce and broth. There is always one that will suit your taste. They sell raw udon with sauce vacuum packed for take home cooking as well. We went there for lunch and was delightful. Highly recommended.
