“Good locally brewed beer”
Not far from Nagahama station on a small side street I stumbled across Nagahama Roman Beer. On a Sunday the place was busy but walk-ins were still able to get a seat and decent service. The locally brewed beer is quite good as are the pork spare ribs.

“Nagahama Roman Beer.”
There is nothing nicer that tasting locally-brewed beer so, when my wife and I decided to spend a night at Nagahama, we placed 'Nagahama Roman Beer' on our 'must see' list. I was very impressed with the menu and, as-soon-as I saw Fish-and-Chips on the menu, I didn't need to worry what else was avail...able. My meal was awesome, especially with the beer to wash it down with. My wife chose the Tandori Chicken and, it too, was awesome. We found the service formal, but very friendly and efficient. If planning a visit to Nagahama, then I would personally recommend you place this establishment on your list, along with the many other attractions in the town.

“The beer is good and that's what I came for”
I'm always on the lookout for new breweries in Japan and since I was cycling through Nagahama anyway I made it a point to stop here. I tried the IPA special and was happy enough that I also purchased 4 other Roman creations as well. I have yet to sample them all but so far I am impressed. Definitely... stop by if you are in the area. It's just southeast of Nagaham station.

“Crowed and bad service”
Since the restaurant is always crowed, its service is awful. We waited for more than 30 min and we could not be well served. And the waiters weren't even able to give us and advice about the time. I don't recommend.
