Excellent service, great food choices, yummy! We were able to book our group of 8 online. Expansive menu. They cook the okonomiyaki for you and then you can keep it warm on your hot plate.

I went in and the wanted me to be traditional, was not happening since once I sit on the floor it takes several people to get me back up. They understood when I told them my age, Once sat at a traditional Okonomiyaki set up the turn on the grill in front of you, when my okonomiyaki came and was pl...aced on the grill it was done as I asked Hiroshima style. Close to the Kyoto Station and if you have the urge this is your place - authentic.

A good place to take your family and for them to experience the Kyoto okonomiyaki cooking style at the table. Very friendly service and good value.

Wonderful, no-frills Kyoto eatery. Very kind and helpful staff. English menu available. Everything we ordered was delicious and fun to eat from the griddle in the table. Great ambiance, lots of locals and tourists alike. Wonderful introduction to this cuisine, and great prices!

Tried this restaurant as we passed by and didnt expect to enjoy ourselves so much. After the meal then we realised its one of japan's famous 'cuisines' Staff were really friendly and could speak some english. Food was great and not expensive. Luckily we ordered the okonomiyaki without knowing it ...cos theres lots of other selections like we ordered the omelette and beef steak. (We actually came in because of the steak). The 'pancake' was so good. Crispy and tasty. Beef steak was good too. We came back the second day but it was full since it was the weekend. Sad. The restaurant is near the kyoto station where we stayed. Tables are booth style with a teppanyaki grill each. There are also japanese style tables where you need to take off shoes. Definitely worth a visit (or two) if youre nearby.
