“hidden costs”
We didn't read the reviews, because it was a spontaineous decision and the beer was cheap. They charge for the table(2000yen? or similar) and don't declare it. No itemized receipt. Food was ok. Nice ambiente and cheap beer.

“Average ”
Food at this restaurant was ok and it's not enough for me to recommend to others. Eggplant dish was very salty and yakitori was chewy. But the tempura and fried rice was nice. Another plus is that the waiters were friendly and attentive.

“Very disappointing ”
Kept waiting then sent upstairs to a smoking area, despite being with a child, an area where Westerners appeared to be kept separate from Japanese diners. Food ok but then when we got the bill they added an extra 25% for some starters we did not order or want. Very disappointing given the high stand...ards of honesty and openness we’ve encountered everywhere else in Japan. void this place and go elsewhere!
