The kobe beef was really good! The server was very friendly and accomodating. It was a small but cozy restaurant near Chinatown.

Had their most expensive chateaubriand 33,800 yen. I'll start with the fact that this is a lovely restaurant with medium scale dining in mind. If you are after an upper class experience, this would not be my recommendation. 1. Firstly some small preparatory work was missed as they left a part of th...e fat cap on. When it's so tender and lovely to chew and then it becomes hard. The experience of a lovely cut becomes reduced. 2. The wasabi was poorly delivered. I'm not sure if maybe it was a different root then what is normally used, but it had lacking flavour which makes me think it wasn't freshly ground. 3. Soy sauce,salt and steak sauce were fine, delicate flavours and not overpowering. The fried mushroom and broccoli were my issues. The oily residue from the mushroom and broccoli stuck to my palette and ruined the delicate flavours of the meat.

Amazing service and incredible Kobe beef made a wonderful dinner experience for me and my husband on our honeymoon. It is a very cozy place and I cannot recommend it enough! :)

I was hoping to go to the one being raved on TripAdvisor, but the chef on the 18th called in sick and they were not in business, so i sadly turned the corner and stumbled into this place. Not bad for Kobe beef, a relatively tiny restaurant (unlike the ones in Sannomiya) with friendly staff and affor...dable price. Beef wasn't 100% lean but still acceptable.

We were wandering the streets among Chinatown then came across this restaurant. Since it was our first time in Kobe, we thought we should not miss having kobe beef. We went in and was seated promptly. At this point, the restaurant was at capacity. We ordered the Sirloin Kobe beef lunch special. At 1...5000yen each , it is not a cheap lunch, but when our first course arrived, we were blown away. The thinly sliced kobe beef was torched and you see the fat melting right before your eyes. Combined with sesame sauce, the whole beef just melted in your mouth, it was sooo good. The rest of the other dishes were just as good, from a salad to the main star of the shoe, the sirloin kobe beef. It was so good that we felt it was definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.
