“Perfection. Family friendly.”
Family of 5 traveling from the US. This was the absolute highlight of our trip (and we even took the kids to Disney Sea!). Ate here two nights in a row because it was outstanding. I can’t even describe how amazing Ichiro is. Thank you so much!!!!

“If you like steak don’t miss this restaurant”
We arrived in Kyoto on a Monday and discovered most things were closed including restaurants. The hotel recommended the Ichiro do we went along. It was wonderful , the food was excellent, the ambiance great and the chef brilliant. In fact the place was so good we went along for a second time a coupl...e of days later. Afterwards you wouldn’t order a steak in the UK again.

“Worth a visit”
Excellent beef teppanyaki set course meal at a reasonable price. Friendly owner/chef in a cosy restaurant sat at the grill. Definitely worth a visit.

“Masterfull chef! ”
We went to have dinner there, when we got there the chef was waiting for us, it's and 8 seat restaurant, so do a reservation. It has the best garlic chips to have with your teppanyaki, the chef cooks amazing and to your requirements. Top quality meat, The chef is extremely nice and caring person, h...e gave us an extra portion of meat because of our honeymoon,

“Excellent Tapanyaki the meat was first class and Nicki the owner is masterful in preparing lovely food.”
Do not miss this one. It's off the beaten track but will worth a trip a little further north than Nijio Castle - just 6 blocks North of Brighton hotel.
