“NOT Uyghur food”
For some reason, I had convinced myself that this was a Uyghur restaurant, perhaps from the skewers in the pictures. It is not. It is more of and after-drinking "night food" Chinese restaurant, although they do use a ton of coriander in their deep-fried chicken bits (lots of pretty hot peppers too..., so maybe this is more like a Chengdu restaurant). Other disappointments: the gyoza was an egg and scallion concoction, and while I like scallions, I cannot eat pure eggs (crepes and popovers yes, but not pure eggs). Also, the beer tap indicated Black beer, and there was none, only the usual. Bad ending. It's on 4F, and the opposite side of the building indicated on the map, but at least there is an elevator. Near Chinatown, so probably hundreds of better options.
