Wanted to have some authentic aged Japanese beef so did quite a bit of research into what restaurant to go to. Didn't want to go to a mainstay, wanted a small independent, unpretentious, non exhorbitant place. This place is a DREAM come true. Owner/chef doesn't speak a word of English but you can... easily order from the menu by pointing at the part of the cow you want to eat. Had prawns to start and then tenderloin for main. It was DIVINE!!!! After I had finished he came over to talk to me with his electronic translator, which was so lovely. The whole experience was so good that I went back the next night too and he'd gotten his English speaking waitress in to work, so I had someone to talk to. Couldn't recommend the place enough. Also visited the Kyoto branch, still great food but not as intimate.

Very good service, great steak, nice place, Good atmosphere, good location. The couple that run it are lovely.

This is our second time eating here. Great Food and location and the staff is really friendly. Really recommended.

Had a wonderful steak for lunch! It was part of the red meat, but it was soft and was the best. The staffs meet requests with kindness. Should visit again.
