“Full breakfast including dessert!”
We are not much into buffet style breakfasts at hotels but La Festa in the Piazza hotel in Nara was pretty good. You could get tiny pieces of toast, croissants, salad, chicken, fish, tofu, miso soup, barley soup, rice, seaweed, runny scrambled eggs, mini wieners, smoked salmon or mackerel sushi wra...pped in a leaf, root veggies, pickled veggies, seaweed salads, taro salad mixed with smooth avocado, sautéed mushrooms, egg station, cereal, yogurt, tiny lemon and cinnamon loaf, and vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream puffs! Staff low key when clearing dishes while you dined. Lots of variety but only really enjoyed 7-8 items. There’s also a beverage station.
