Our son recommended this place as he wanted to try omurice so we actually made a reservation on line via the Shinkansen app which was not necessary. You can just show up at the restaurant and register your name for a table like at Sushiro. We went at 4:50 pm Sunday and there was no line up. On line... we had only one choice with the reservation…2500yen each person for a set meal which had omurice with tomato sauce, small bowl of beef stew, and 2 fried oysters with tartar sauce and some shredded cabbage. The set also included a draft beer or soft drink and a dessert. For dessert the seasonal is tomato sorbet or a choice of ice cream. We had the tomato sorbet which was unique for us and tasted refreshing after the meal. For 350 yen additional, we ordered a fried beef curry bun and there was lots of filling and delicious. The food was all delicious and next time we go we will just show up and register our name so we can choose from their menu. Our server spoke some English and she was very good in explaining everything to us. We had a tatami style table so if you have difficulty in mobility, this seating of getting in and out of the tatami room may be challenging, all shoes must be removed. We will return on our next visit to Osaka.

The place was great, and there was no need for a reservation and there was no line before or after we had our dinner. It was a nice semi-private room with seats fitting up to 6. The food was fine the only thing is that it was warm. When you ordered it took literally 1 minute to get there. We think i...t was warm as they don’t make it fresh, they have them ready to go. Overall, this is a lovely and authentic restaurant with decades of history and definitely recommend it to families or couples.

The omurice here is an absokute must try if you're in Osaka or Dotombori. If you're not into runny eggs, this might not be your cup of the tea but otherwise, a must try.

Just outside hustle bustle of Dotonburi. Queue by scanning QR code. Shoes to be placed in locker provided. Simple wooden key. The Omu rice is of course great. Choice of curry Omu or standard sauce. You can upgrade to a set which comes with 3 tempura ebi and a miso soup. Order was quick and service w...as fast on a Sunday afternoon.

Service was 10/10, very good customer service and everyone was friendly. Managed to get a table in less than 10mins (off peak hours) and was given clear instructions to remove our shoes 👌🏻 Good food good company good service and would definitely be back! *PS: be sure to order their fried squid 🤤
