“Chinese meets Japanese meets Michelin”
Quiet, discrete place, private rooms, simple decor and a very interesting and imaginative menu. Really different and in fact a quite original style thanks to the well known chef whose been able to develop his own style. Great experience!

“Stunning seclusion, sublime food”
The restaurant serves beautiful tasting menus of Chinese oriented cuisine - served in private rooms with en suite balconies overlooking a small pond. A beautiful, romantic, secluded setting, and yet right in the heart of Kyoto. The food was very beautifully presented, and was really very delicious,... from the peanuts with tiny fried fishies as a beer snack, through to carefully dressed plates of scallops, pork, fried rice, and an unidentified but very hearty bowl of glutinous green soup! The value compared to Europe eating at places like this is excellent. A great place for special evening out.
