“Hidden gem - Michelin star crafted food and amazing service”
This is an amazing hidden gem in terms of food and service. We went there on the first night just for a night cap and ordered a snack which already amazed us -so we booked the evening thereafter with the whole family. The food was amazing ! The freshness and the way the food was created together wit...h the sauces and ingredients made us feel like eating in a Michelin star restaurant. And the friendly service put the cherry on the cake.

“Best contemporary food on entire trip. ”
I would throw this in the hat of gastro pub and newer trendy food that spins on old classics like grilled rice balls and omelette. It's a contemporary atmosphere with a huge tiger on the wall - playing Daft Punk. Super chill. Super delicious. Our hotel is near and we loved it so much we went twice. ...Nice staff, amazing food. Wish we could go again before we leave! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any pallets. English menu too. So grateful to find this gem while in Kyoto!!
