“Magical food experience @Terrasse Irisée in beautiful Nara”
There are many "Michelin Star" Restaurants in Japan, but this one was one of the best we have visited by far. The Chef, Mr. Susumi Sasaki and his team showed us how an axquisite culinary highlight looks alike in Nara. The Service was excellent. We had Amuse bouche with delcious foie gras Macarons, ...fantastic tartelette, mini salmon sandwich and a green hot praliné. As a starter we had Oyster with Champagne mousse, Sea Eel wrapped in a cloud, Abalone shell as a cassoulet, a fantastic sea bream with Sauce Bouillabaisse, Lobster with a green curry and Okra, Beef fillet and Sirloin of Wagyu, Somen Noodles with Sea urchin, Pré Dessert with Mango and the Dessert with Melon. The Lunch has been far above our expectation, the Restaurant has only one Michelin Star but deserves two. We hope that the Guide Michelin will soon reward the Team around Mr. Sasaki. Thank you very much for this Magical Moment we have enjoyed in Nara.
