“Absolutely wonderful lunch for a great price”
Stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch and boy were we thrilled with Kinoe! For lunch only we were able to order the set meals so each of us ordered the various meats (offals included) for 1650 yen per person. In addition, we ordered side dishes like small and large intestines for about 900 yen ea...ch. The meal was EXCELLENT...great taste and absolutely wonderful! Our various meat at 1650 yen pp included beef, pork, chicken, and some intestine with this sauce we included and everything was so tasty. You grill it yourself and there was no bad smoke/smell on your clothing at all. We ordered 3 set lunches at 1650 yen each, 3 side dishes at about 900 yen each , one small beer at 260 yen and one whiskey at about 270 yen. Our entire bill came to 8950 yen and what a fantastic lunch we had! We also ordered a large rice for 110 yen extra or a regular rice is included at no extra cost. We also ordered a small side salad for 110 yen. The entire meal was so delicious but the restaurant closes at 2:30pm so if you go late you must finish your meal by 2:30pm as the servers are all eager to go home. Our servers were very friendly and very helpful....we ordered our meal on the ipad and english menu was available. We will return to Kinoe for sure!

“Wonderful culinary Experience ”
I've been in this restaurant in Kyoto with my girlfriend. We ordered the beef selection and it was very good. The meat was of high quality and the price was honest for the food they offer. Very very good! ✌️

“Great Omi wagyu beef!”
We ordered the set menu, and loved everything, especially the Omi beef. Staff was extremely friendly, and they had an English menu. Although I had read that smoking was allowed, I requested non-smoking when booking online and either we were placed in a non-smoking room or maybe it was a more relax...ed night, because we never even saw a cigarette (a relief for a preggo mama). Also, the bibimbap... SO GOOD. Better than what we had in Korea.

“Amazing restaurant”
Our time in Kyoto has been short. But no doubt going through this restaurant we have the feeling of having enjoyed one of the best meals without a doubt of our trip to Japan. We definitely recommend it. Also, a great restaurant is always accompanied by a great staff, and in our case Yusuke made our ...dinner even better. Thank you!!!

“Tasty wagyu beef!!”
Me and my partner came here specifically to try the wagyu beef and we were not disappointed! I’d recommend to try the wagyu beef with the yaruki secret sauce as it’s delicious (or ooh-shi)! The fries were also amazing with the barbecue sauce! This is a must try restaurant if you are in the area! You... cook your own beef at your table :) which is fun!
