Delicious food. Amazing to sit and watch the chefs cook. Authentic Kyoto dishes available too. Would definitely return here.

“Great dinner!”
Great food and really nice people. The variety was impressive. The sashimi was excellent as well as the duck, broiled fish, and corn tempura. Highly recommend this place in Pontocho.

月に1回程度伺っていますが、お酒もお料理も美味しく毎回満足させてもらってます！ おばんざいや京都のお酒、京都以外のおすすめ日本酒なども充実していて観光の際も地元の方にもおすすめです！ 接客もフレンドリーで居心地が良いです☺️ I often visit this restaurant. And I’m always amazed by their great foods, sake, and service. I recommend Kohaku for everyone visiting or living in Kyoto😀

“Casual and delicious drinks and small dishes!”
Wonderful, casual food and drinks! Don't be thrown off by the ordering through the app - it actually turned out to be perfect because you could set your own pace and as soon as you submitted a new item it arrived within seconds. The app allowed everyone to order on their phone but the bill was eithe...r combined or split depending on your party. The food was delicious and it was a great way to try lots of small dishes. A fun night and great choice!!
