“Casual and delicious drinks and small dishes!”
Wonderful, casual food and drinks! Don't be thrown off by the ordering through the app - it actually turned out to be perfect because you could set your own pace and as soon as you submitted a new item it arrived within seconds. The app allowed everyone to order on their phone but the bill was eithe...r combined or split depending on your party. The food was delicious and it was a great way to try lots of small dishes. A fun night and great choice!!

“Obanzai on steroids”
Great selection of obanzai, tofu and tuba. Grilled fish collar was also a treat. There are plenty of sashimi and meat options too. Even though we ordered mostly vegetarian options, it was flavorful, filling and satisfying. Quite the introduction to Kyoto cuisine and I highly recommend it!

“Must visit!”
The food was excellent and so delicious. It was my favourite meal since I've been to Japan so far! I also love that the restaurant is a little "hole in the wall," and you have a front row while they cook in the kitchen.

“A perfect meal”
Great drinks and amazing variety of food, with the natural flavours brought out by the light sauces and refreshing condiments. Staff were lovely. Can’t recommend more!

What a find this little restaurant was. Tucked away in a little side street in Kyoto, where the atmosphere is welcoming and the food great. We had the fried pototoes, fried turnip, smoking chicken , beef which were beautifully cooked and seasoned. The assortment of vegetables were all great but part...icularly the tempura. For 4 of us with alcohol only cost us about ¥11000. What a bargain for a fantastic meal.
