“Traditional Soba and Eel Restaurant”
Walking back toward the railway station after descending from Todaiji temple in Nara, we found this little restaurant specialising in Unagi and soba. Minimal English speaking but an English menu and pictures told the story. Good value, simple food well executed.

“Good after taking bath”
Beniya is a restaurant, which is adjacent to Genjiro Yu thermal bath. I went there after taking bath. But even you do not use the bathing facilities, you can still eat in this restaurant. Compared with other restaurants in public baths, the quality of Beniya is quite good: not like a self service ca...nteen, but a full service restaurant. I will be back.
