The shop is well maintained, grandpa definitely made this spot in my top 5 ramen places I’ve ever went to in my life! I’d give this spot a definite 5/5, loving supporting small businesses and I would recommend you try out the ramen cold or hot!!!

We ate lunch at this place while out and about killing time till our hotel room was ready. We had tofu skin Soba, tempura soba and tempura rice. This shop is a one man operation. Friendly efficient service. The food was exceptional and well worth a stop. Miso soup that came with was very tasty... as well. Menu is translated to English and staff very helpful.

The food tasted absolutely amazing and cost just a little over ¥1000. I had the soba with herring and it was very delicious. The restaurant is run by the sweetest man too, all in all excellent experience! Absolutely recommend.

I had a hankering for basic no-frills tempura don and this guy delivered. It didn't come with sauce which surprised me, but the batter was very well-seasoned and I found I didn't miss it - and there was some sauce at the bottom of the bowl to season the rice, which was great. Came with miso soup and... a little side dish of marinated fish and vegetables, which I was initially skeptical of but turned out to be really delicious. Note this is listed as closing at 7 but I saw him take down the Open sign around 6:30, so if you want dinner, go early.
