“Special Japanese food, haute-cuisine, go for it!”
We enjoyed every dish! Cooked with great skill and served in a friendly atmosphere. Staff is keen on every detail. Afterwards we met the chef himself, a very kind man. Hope to come again one day!

“Tourist trap”
Very expensive, even for Kyoto, for a very deceiving gastronomic traditional experience. Poor quality of products, served in a sloppy manner. Not worth the price (or even half of it).

“So disappointed kaiseki dinner ”
So disappointed over the course of kaiseki premium dinner which I pre-payed over 500 USD for 3 persons to make reservation. I think the dinner was not that premium and even excluding fried dish, quintessential course of kaiseki. For sushi dish, only a piece of makeral sushi was offered. I felt I got... ripped off and felt very bad over the dinner.

“Moment to Moment Food Heaven”
Loved every moment, the service, vibe and aesthetics. The harmony of food, service and presentation were all in synch. Would go back as often as possible. Highly recommend the ʻminiʻ kaiseki lunch, which was a lot.
