“Unfriendly Reception”
We arrived at this restaurant without a reservation and I understand if they could not accommodate me and my family. However, the woman who came to the door was extremely abrupt and unfriendly, shooing us away because we did not have a reservation. There were some empty tables and seats at the bar b...ut she said that they only use the bar during lunch. A little kindness goes a long way.

“Fabulous find! ”
What a little gem! We were visiting Kyoto for a few days and we were all craving a pizza. This place was fantastic! Authentic wood fired pizzas and delicious pasta. Lots of dishes to choose from. Great wines too. I highly recommend booking, especially in peak season.

“Surprisingly good Italian food in Kyoto”
Surprisingly great Italian food in Kyoto. The owner takes great care in personally crafting the pizzas, out of a wood fire oven. And the taste is excellent. Salads are also terrific. Wine selection is good - which is hard too find in Kyoto! Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for Italian food....

“Outstanding Italian in Kyoto”
Outstanding Italian food in Kyoto. Directly across from Four Seasons Hotel and very popular restaurant. Reservations are a must! Excellent pizza, pasta, and caprese! Highly recommend! We chose to dine 2 nights while in Kyoto. Family owned and very friendly!

“Small restaurant with great Italian food”
Good Italian food; we had a mozzarella and basil pizza with margherita, which was great. The staff spoke enough English so that we were very satisfied.
