“Incredible dining experience”
Special new year menu Visited with my brother and can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I got to try so many ingredients that you don’t come across on a day to day basis like abalone, dried fish roe, sea cucumber, monkfish liver, herring spawn, you name it. Everything was de...licious and so obviously fresh and high quality. The tuna sashimi, matcha ice cream and cold noodles with crab and caviar were personal favourites I honestly don’t know what planet some people are on giving this 1-3 stars. Staff were friendly and attentive, everything was masterfully cooked and presented, the space was beautiful and watching the chef and his team at work was a delight. Umai sensei!

“Be warned.”
Absolutely terrible. This restaurant epitomizes lack of hospitality. We were a bit late for our reservation and were locked out and forced to pay for two expensive meals we were not even offered and they would not even speak. The ritz Carlton tried unsuccessfully to address the situation and wer...e shocked and apologetic for their lack of professionalism. They are also advising all guests to avoid this restaurant. It is exactly the opposite of the hospitality we receive elsewhere in Japan and a culture of wanting to help customers rather than trying to take advantage of them

“Excellent cuisine in a fun professional environment”
what a fantastic night for my birthday. The food was excellent but what it even more special was the small intimate setting and friendly kitchen team that made us feel very welcome. The chef is very skilled and sources only the best of ingredients, while his team is young and very devoted, but they... have a great relationship we could tell from the beginning as everyone was very professional, but not stiff and it looked like his team genuinely enjoyed the dinner service. In the end, we particularly loved charcoal grilled tilafish with crispy fish scales, his somen noodles, and his freshly cooked rice...though my wife fell in love with their Beau Michelle Sake and the mochi dessert. All around a great place with good value that I have happily recommended to friends

“Exceptional Kaiseki lunch”
A small but personal place to taste a mini Kaiseki meal without breaking the bank. The friendly chef & owner Nishikawa came to greet us personally. But everything is so beautifully presented & tasty. My sister has some dietary restriction & they made special dishes for her.

“Not worth it…. I can’t believe it’s so salty”
It’s great to have a private room. However the wait for food is far too long… almost 4 hours! and some of the courses are just too salty. Food overall is just average. Way below my expectations as a 2-star Michelin.
