“Great food, great service- a friendly atmosphere”
We stumbled across this small venue while looking for dinner and we’re so glad we did! The owners were super friendly, English was great if that’s your native language, and the food was superb. We went with the chef selection and ate a great range of meats, seafood and vegetables. Each course was we...ll prepared and delicious. This was one of our pricier meals in Japan but was worth every yen. Id recommend this venue for both service and food without a doubt!

“Passionate chef + artistic melt in your mouth food.”
We happened upon Teppei’s restaurant by chance as we were wandering around Kita-Shinchi. We went for the chef’s choice menu. His skewers were artistically crafted and the taste scrumptious! He is well versed in English having spent time in Auckland. HIGHLY recommended. A hidden gem.

“Positively delicious”
My fiancee and I just got done having dinner here and what a treat! We went with the chef's choice and it was just one amazing thing after the next. Teppei, the owner and chef, was wonderful. Not only was the food divine but Teppei was so nice to talk to, so funny, and obviously a great chef. Also f...or travelers like ourselves I must say he spoke some of the best English we've heard in Japan, so that was a nice plus. Highly recommended!

“Little gem”
We followed Trip Advisors reviews and went to this small restaurant not far from our hotel. We let the chef choose for us from his menu of grilled items. (He spoke English which was really helpful.). Everything he presented to us was delicious. Grilled lamb, Mushroom with bonito, Beef loin and m...any other dishes. Osaka is like one giant restaurant so it’s very hard to chose. We were glad we picked this one!

“Pride and Passion”
Osaka has streets lined with restaurants side by side, so how do you choose the right one? Teppei emitted a vibe, had bottoms on seats10 out of the 12 and upon entering we were greeted warmly. Quite simply, the skewers are works of art, the lamb, crab, beef, vegetable are superb and together with Te...ppei’s (Chef/Owner) English conversation skills ex NZ the night was extremely enjoyable. HINT, if you are staying in the area for Rugby World Cup this is a must...... plus the opening hours are 5pm to 3am
