I must say that this was the worst experience in Japan. Food quality was bad, they have hidden charges for things you did not order, service is rude.

I've lived in Osaka almost 20 years and it's very, very, rare to find a bad restaurant. Japanese standards are high, but in recent years, particularly around Dotonbori, the restaurant quality has gone down. This is probably because Japanese restaurant owners don't care so much anymore about the qual...ity of food or service, because the majority of their customers are foreigners. I've wanted to go this sennichimae maguro center for a while and finally went in July 2019. The service is really bad. The food was really bad too. My Japanese friend also said it was bad. And I would never bother writing a review if that was the only problem. While we were eating in the enclosed outdoor area, a MASSIVE rat ran into the restaurant! I told the staff and she said "yeah they come all the time" wtf? We were there only about 40 minutes and 2 mice also ran around! So one rat and 2 mice! In 40 minutes! I called the staff member over again and told her to tell the owner. She just laughed at me and walked off! It wasn't acceptable. We left most of our food as we were worried about getting sick given the lack of hygiene in the restaurant. The place itself is also filthy, it's also a place where you can smoke so it just shows the lack of care about hygiene. I will say in 20 years living in Japan it's the worst place I've ever been and should be avoided!
