“Yum”
Very nice ambience. Your party is separated with walls for privacy. Never tried crab shabu-shabu and wow. The soup base is sufficient flavoring so no need to dip in anything. They have a great gizmo to get all the sweetness out of the claws. Looks similar to the ear picker but worked like a cha...rm. Highly recommend.

“Great taste of "Osaka" kani in Kyoto”
The restaurant is located in Kyoto down town. The forniture are well aligned with the traditional Japanese mid level restaurants. This is a paradise of giant crabs, and if you like them, you will love it. I ordered the crabs legs, and I cooked them by myself in boiled water with vegetables and tofu.... Simply delicious!

“A hearty & very satisfying dinner for crab lovers!”
Served dish by dish, you are sure to have a generous serving and spread of crab cooked in various ways. Steamed, grilled, raw, in chawanmushi, in hotpot rice. Very fresh and great for crab lovers! Must try if you are in kyoto or osaka.And don't forget to snap a photo in front of the huge crab sign i...n the restaurant.

“Excellent sushi and crab”
Kari douraku Teramachi Sanjo is an awesome crab restaurant that serves all forms of crab. Bet the sampler that has everything from bisque to tempura to steamed on the shell. I am not 100% sure this is the same place, but look for the giant (4 meter wide) crab with dolling animatronic eyes over ...the door. If u sure, ask your hotel concierge and have them call 075 - 211 - 0671
