We had an excellent dinner here during our visit to Dotombori. We arrived around 5pm on a weekday without a reservation but were seated promptly at a table on the 3rd floor (Japanese style sunken seating) with a nice view. Ordering is done through a tablet that has many language options. We chose... the popular Kouka set and were treated to a multi-course crab feast that included grilled crab, crab sashimi, crab rice, and matcha ice cream. Our courses were delicious, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and all the staff were very friendly.

Food was okay, but waitress is rude. Was celebrating our first wedding anniversary, but the rude waitress dampened my mood for the night.

Kani Doraku is a landmark in Osaka. The huge crab sign above its entrance is eye-catching for every passer-by. Having an elaborate crab feast is a touristy yet memorable experience. There are sets of different price ranges with crab prepared in various ways. Taste is fine and service impeccable. Res...ervation is a must.

Poor English service, most food on the menu are frozen crab not fresh one, do not come only if you can’t find other restaurants!

An exceptional dining experience. The recommended Crab dish was a sensation. Service was amazing and the overall ambiance made it a wonderful memory. I will be back.
