Despite spending 40K yen in the outlet, I was very dissatisfied with the staff service: 1) the staff placed us at the last table with no visibility. It is so difficult to call for the attention of your staff. Staff has to be called loudly to come over. Knowing us don’t speak Japanese, staff make no... attempt to bring an English menu until bring asked. 2) staff is rude in communicating to us. Angry pointed out where I put my towel wrongly in the bowl. 3) Our pot of tea is empty. The staff didn’t even attempt to check on the level of tea inside the pot 4) Despite reminding the staff of the rice that was placed aside, she rudely telling me another 10 more minutes, when it’s already at the side there for 20 minutes. 5) Not explaining clearly the dishes are for which items which creates confusion. 6) When serving us the ice cream, she was rudely cleaning the table while we are eating, while squeezing in between the chair to clear the table. 7) the online booking system is so bad that advance booking was told no seat. But when I try to book at the same day, 3 hours in advance, there’s empty slot. It is not a very healthy business practice. Overall it’s the first, and last time there

A must try crab restaurant!! We’ve booked a private room for two with a nice and comfortable ambience. The restaurant served crab in many different styles, yummy and fresh. Staffs were cheerful and friendly.

The restaurant provides numerous selection of crab dishes, including but not limited to, hot pot, raw crab sushi, grilled crab, boiled crab, even many specialized dishes. Recommend to make a reservation first in case there are no seats available. Servicewomen are all polite but understand little or ...minor English, but you can still sort of understanding their meaning from their gestures. The grilled crab we ordered is not what we expected from the menu as it states that it contains two kinds of different crab types, but instead it's two parts of the same crab, and the size of the crab is not large even for we visit it during the time of crab season. We ordered hot pot, crab rice, and one whole crab in season. The taste of all dishes is great as it should be, but we believe that it's a little bit overpriced considering the size of these crabs we ate. There are three branches here, be sure to book the right one when you make a reservation.

We made a reservation for lunch ahead of time on their website. English was odd (uses a translator) but we were still able to get the idea. Originally we wanted the main store but this was the store that showed availability for the date we wanted. Also, we decided to do lunch because the prices are ...significantly better than dinner for the sets (combo). When we arrived we were promptly brought to our table. The service was average, they weren't mean or anything. Just no smiles; basically impassive servers the whole time. Which we understand because throughout our visit we saw a lot of annoying/rude tourists. Also, staff is salaried they don't work off of tips so there's no incentive for them to be nice anyway. Our food came one item after another quite quickly. one thing to note, do not wait for all your food to arrive to take pictures or videos. They come out staggered in waves and your entire meals will never be on the table at the same time. So just eat right away. Especially if you get the set with the small shabu make sure to put the raw veggies and noodles in right away or else the fire will go out and you cannot cook your food. The food honestly was just ok. Nothing to write home about. We are glad we got to try this once, but it will not be a spot for repeat visits.

Kanidoraku is an institution in Osaka, known for its crab dishes. We had a crab kaiseki meal here, and although decent, the crabs were not spectacular. It's worth trying, though.
