“Reservation not wellcomed”
I was brought to this restaurant by my local friends twice and appreciated their local foods, Oden and drilled fish. Price is reasonable if one thinks about its quality. Then why the rating is low. It is because they seem not accepting reservations from "gaijin" ( foreigners). I attempted five ti...mes to book a table for me and my wife. Never successful. I interpret that they have enough customers and do not wish to be bothered by us. We can try by visiting this restaurant without a reservation and likely we will be accommodated. But I have no intention to do so.

“excellent Izakaya south of Imperial Palace and east of Shiyakusho Mae metro stop.”
classic, friendly Japanese tavern. They seated upstairs on traditional tatami mats and once we figured out to push the service bell on the wall, we received attentive service. For me, the most memorable dish was the perfectly cooked Korean pancake. The menu was available in English and everythin...g we ordered was delicious.

“Great food and atmosphere”
We loved the food in this izakaya, a great atmosphere. It was really nice to talk to the staff (waiters and cooks), sit at the counter, and enjoy the food in a nice setting.
