“Great Experience in Osaka”
Visited this restaurant with Family for Lunch. Excellent Experience and nice Kobe Beef we had in the restaurant. The service provided is excellent too.

“Good shabu shabu in Namba area”
Good food! Freshly cut meat! We had a great time as a family!good quality and fresh ingredients! The staff are nice and attentive!

“Good lemon broth but cross contamination is a concern”
Staying in the Namba area so wanted to look for a reasonably priced shabu shabu restaurant nearby. Came across Shabuwara which offers shabu shabu or sukiyaki for same price. All 3 of us opted for the shabu shabu....2 domestic beef and 1 domestic pork. We came for dinner. We had 1 medium domestic be...ef for about 3000 yen; 1 large domestic beef for about 4180 yen; and 1 large domestic pork for about 2980 yen. All dinners come with a lovely aesthetically presented bowl of unique vegetables; one bowl of rice (wild or white); one small bowl of udon (dinner only); small scoop of yuzu sorbet (dinner only). You can choose 1 broth...we had 1 spicy; 1 lemon; and 1 japanese. The lemon broth was absolutely delicious as it cut the fat of the beef belly with some acidic citrus taste. The Japanese broth did not have much taste so very mild and bland; while the spicy was very rich with one jujube; one longan; and one dried pepper. We think the spicy caters to the Chinese clientele as it had a sichuan flavour. While the beef and the broth all tasted fine but we had to deduct at least one star because: 1. The guests beside us ordered beef and pork mixed and both came touching each other on the plate. This is big time cross contamination! For people we prefer to eat their beef rare and the pork touching the beef is asking for trouble. So if you like your beef rare and you also want pork, make sure you ask them to separate it into 2 different plates to avoid cross contamination. 2. While diners have not even finished their meals, the female servers will reach over the counter and grab some plates and dishes which is not very professional. The servers may want to be efficient but let's wait until the diners have completely finished the meal before removing dishes and having their arms in your face while you are still eating. The 3 of us did not have any extras or drinks and our bill came to 10300 yen which was decent. The yuzu sorbet was very refreshing at the end of the meal and the broth was so tasty that we drank it all.

“Great choice for tourists - a miss if you are a local”
Located on the ground floor, inside the Namba Grand Kagetsu Theater complex. They only have two tables but lots of counter seating. They do not take reservations. If you want to try Shabu Shabu or Sukiyaki, this isn't a bad place. The target audience is tourists. The menu is in English. Staff ...can understand English. The price point for Shabu Shabu / Sukiyaki is about ¥3,000 per person. You can choose Wagyu or imported beef. These folks understand their customers. Food is good enough. Quality is good enough. Service is good enough. As a local, we will never come here on our own but if we are bringing guests, we will go back. The Shabu Shabu hot pot soup has choices geared toward Chinese guests but they have Japanese flavors as well.

“Good quality beef and pork”
Very fresh and good quality beef and pork. Both sukiyaki and shabu shabu options are fine. Menus are available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese. Service staff are attentive. Advisable to make a reservation as there are not many seats.
