We stopped here randomly, we had not checked Trip advisor reviews previously as we probably wouldn't have stopped. Anyway we started with scrambled eggs a beer and a lemon sour. The eggs were lovely, the beer and lemon sour were cold. Then we had Kushikatsu - egg, chicken thigh and cheese and they w...ere also delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. So maybe the place has improved since the previous reviews.

Worst service i ever had in Japan. Don't ever step foot into it. Food taste like rubber. Had to wait long for the food to be served.

Location: Near Namba Station I wish we had looked up reviews before going to this place. We love Japan. People are courteous. Polite and efficient, but NOT at this restaurant. The negatives outweigh any positives. Negatives 1. They served us 4 servings of seaweed crackers and didn’t ask us. This... was right when we sat down. We hadn’t ordered yet. Then we later found out they charged us 1320yen for appetizers we didn’t even ask for. There’s a sign there, but we didn’t even get a menu before these items were served. 2. The raw wagyu was not wagyu. You couldn’t even chew it. It was definitely not a good piece. 3. The dipping ramen was served in a HUGE bowl, but you later find out, that it’s 1/4 filled and there’s a layer in near the top to drip the water into the bowl. 4. We ordered 2 bowls of plain white rice. Followed up twice because 30 min passed after all the food already came and still no rice. We canceled it. THEN they brought out the rice. We sent it back. 5. We asked for water. Twice. Never got it. Now the WORST part. We ordered family style for sharing (4 adults and 3 kids). The portions of food were large and good value. We didn’t finish it all, but the only thing we wanted to take with us was the edamame. We asked for a box. The girl left and came back and said no. We asked for a bag. She said no. Then later we found out from the female manager that although we PAID for the food, we weren’t allowed to take it out!!! Then the male cashier (unhelpful to everyone - even his coworkers), came over with a strange translated messaging saying essentially that we can’t take it out because they can’t “regulate” the food? We happened to have 2 plastic bags and took it out with that. None of the food was spectacular. Positive things. Big with lots of seating, which is rare. Variety on the menu. Sharing portions are very big. Overall I would not recommend this place and hope the restaurant will fix the issues!

No lo recomiendo para nada. Te traen un appeteizer obligado el cual cobran Y NO TE AVISAN previamente, tampoco aparece la advertencia al entrar. Después de preguntar nos traen un cartel y nos cobran 300 Yenes de más por persona por kimchi que, para nosotros, estaba incomible. Los Kushikatsu super pe...queños y nada especial, sin sabor, quedas con hambre. Además no te traen agua y es obligación pedir un bebestible No hablan inglés. El servicio rápido pero a destiempo los distintos pedidos. I wouldn't recommend it. It's the first time that I feel scammed in Japan. You sit and get no warning of the following situation: you make an order scanning a qr code. After you order they bring you an appetizer that you don't ask for, and that you are obligated to pay for, even if you don't touch it. When I review the history of order, then it appears a 300 yen charge per person. When we ask why, they bring a sheet where it says that's mandatory to pay for the appetizer they obligate you. There's no warning about that charge at the entrance, at the moment you sit, at no time before they bring the appetizer. By the way, it isn't comestible. Also, THEY DONT GIVE YOU WATER, you are obligated to order drinks. About the food: ver little, lack of flavor, and not fulfilling. It's a scam for tourist. Better keep away.

Right in the middle of the tourist area is this 24-hour izakaya. At 5:30 am, it was the only option available for a quick bite. It wasn't crazy busy but I wasn't the only customer. I had some fries (which was alright), BBQ beef which was good but a tad salty. Everything was geared toward drink...ing more booze. Considering the portion size, the price is quite expensive. However, being the only place in town at this time in the early morning, I can't complain. Happy that something was open with a washroom. It felt like this place was the last stop someone will make during a night of heavy drinking. They perform a function. Cater to tourists and those participating in an all-nighter.
