Eight exquisite course meal dinner!! It was the most traditional Japanese experience me and my husband ever had last night. The food presentation was so artistic, colorful and elegant. You can tell the person preparing it have an artistic vision and an eye for beauty. Everything was chosen correctl...y and accurately. I loved that! It was an amazing site and taste. Honestly, at the beginning I thought the portions in the mini plates is going to leave us hungry, but the continuous coming of the rest of the meal was so filling that we were really full! We had the most expensive meal on the menu. I can't recall the name now. The first course was a very beautiful & colorful appatizer tray followed by a verity of raw fish and shrimp salad in an ice bowl. Then was the tasty sushi plate. Then came the grilled fish (yummy, I liked it a lot), then the tempoura plate (a tiny fried fish and a tiny octopus with fried Japanese veggies), then the beef plate. It came sizziling over a charcoal square stone oven (this was fun to cook yoursel to your liking) as the meat came a bit red (take a video for this plate).This was followed by a hot clay pot filled with rice and green beans and a bowl of soup. Lastly, came the fruit plate and the Japanese sweet. It was Mango and strawberries topped with mint leaves. It was the most delicious mango I ever tasted. My husband asked for a second! 😃 The nicest thing about this experience was awaiting the next course and guessing how it will look and how will it taste. I included a picture of each course. I recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Osaka, Japan. The restaurant is in the 2nd floor of the Conrad hotel tower. The staff speak little English but very pleasant and warm people. The restaurant is very expensive, but worth it.
