“Pick a different location”
I had a reservation here on October 4. The Tokyo Shinjuku location was amazing so I wanted to try this while I was in the Kansai area. It was not as good experience. This location is found in the Grand Hankyu building. There's multiple Hankyu buildings in the area so you have to find the right one ...and right elevators to get to it. I ended up being 15 minutes lates because I was in the wrong building. Luckily they still seated me. Since I had already experienced a larger course at the Tokyo location and knew what I liked, I picked a smaller Matsusaka Filet course along with an Umeshu on the rocks. The piece of ice they put in it was absolutely ridiculous. I attached the photo because it was just unbelievable someone would serve that. The meat was good of course, Chef was decent and English speaker friendly, the service wasn't all that attentive though. It was disappointing after having such a great experience at a different location.

“Best Kobe and Matsusaka beef restaurant”
Food was amazing again. This is my second time here and both times did not disappoint. We had the Matsusaka Menu in which we've tried the Kobe beef and the Matsusaka beef, lobster, prawns, foie gras and garlic fried rice. The chef was very friendly and even had a beer with us. As it's a teppan sty...le restaurant, the food was fresh and served to us immediately. We ordered all the premium add-ons and a lot of drinks which totalled over $350 (USD) for the both of us. The usual menu with no add-ons is often around $90 (USD) per person. I would recommend the Matsusaka beef 100g loin and the Kirin premium beer, especially for those who haven't experienced it before. The dessert was also delicious and I can't wait to come back here again when I fly to Japan again! English menu is available, also this is a reservation only restaurant, so give them a call before you go, and they do have English speaking staff (but note, they may not be working whenyou call sometimes ) And big thanks to 学森 for introducing me to this restaurant!

“Expensive but great view and food”
Pricey, but honestly worth it for the view alone. Our chef was very friendly and took the time to explain our courses in English and was even patient with my terrible Japanese. The host was a little pushy, but not enough to damper our experience. Kobe beef was great, and portions adequate.
