Pretty good. We had about 15 courses, out of the 15 courses my favorite is the tuna sashimi, my least favorite was the 2nd course(sorry don’t know how to say what it is) but we had rice at the end(I think that’s the main course) and we has pudding,grape, mango and matcha ice cream for dessert overal...l a decent 2 star Michelin restaurant

We loved everything about this experience. We had our own tatami room. We chose the Sake pairing. The sake glasses were unique and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience - even using google translate on their phones! It was so lovely and wonderful. The food... was spectacular as was the beautiful plating and dishes.

The omakase is pretty spectacular here. So many beautifully designed and wonderfully prepared dishes. Lots of interaction with the chefs, who worked hard to explain each dish to us in English (with pictures!). The skewered fish preparation is a highlight and the sashimi was excellent. It was a bit t...oo much food for me in the end, but I explained to the chef and he was very gracious and prepared smaller tastes for me.

The host was very welcoming, warm and very friendly. We were ushered to our tatami room where we were presented with a variety of really delicious cusine. Literally every dish was "oh my!" (umai.) This was our first restaurant visit in Kyoto after traveling from Tokyo and it is by far the best Japan...eese food I've had so far in the last 2 weeks -- at least as of the time of this review. What a memorable experience. We will definitely come back here again.
