“Amazing Dinner in Osaka”
My wife and I dined here on our honeymoon. We did not make a reservation but thankfully managed to get a seat. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but definitely a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend booking, and visiting for dinner if you are in Osaka. The chef carefully prepares many diff...erent dishes, mostly fried, and the staff are all attentive and polite. Once they found out it was our honeymoon, they provided us with cakes as a gift from a nearby patisserie on our way out. Very thoughtful and kind, and anyone able to reserve a seat here should consider themselves lucky! Recommend sitting at the counter if offered!

“Wow loved this 1 Michelin star high-end/creative take on kushikatsu!”
The chefs spoke almost no English but I found Again but looking at various Michelin Star blogs and lists so we wanted to give it a try since Osaka is famous for its local kushikatsu. We had a really incredible meal here. It was very creative and you get served about 20 fried skewers per person along... with a really delicious salad with a whipped dressing and some beers. The cost was about CAD $100 per person so it was on the higher end but not crazy expensive for a restaurant with Michelin buzz. The chefs were young and fun and even though they did not really speak English, we enjoyed chatting with them through Google translate on our phone. This was a great local dining experience in Osaka. It's a super small restaurant in what felt like a converted apartment and we were the only tourists in the place when we visited which was awesome (if you arrive and it's legitimately a kind of apartment building, then you're in the right place)! Make sure you're sitting at the bar for the best experience. TIP: There is a little dish with three types of sauce. As the chefs fry each skewer, they place it in front of you and the wooden stick will point at the correct sauce that you are supposed to use for dipping!

“Tasty Kushi-Katsu, Friendly Young Staff”
I had a dinner with my wife. The restaurant is located at three-minute walk from Kita-Shinchi station. The capacity is around 15 guests and we were seated at counter table. Three young persons were working in this small restaurant including the chef. We ordered Omakase course and all of the Kushi-Ka...tsu were delicious. The chef, although he looked young, was cooking Kushi-Katsu professionally as if he had been a Kushi-Katsu chef for much longer time. The total cost for two of us, including a bottle of Champaign (10,000 JPY=85 USD) and tax, was around 28,000 JPY (=240 USD). It was reasonable for its quality of meals, and this restaurant is recommendable.
