近江今津 西友

Nishitomo is a restaurant of eel specialty in Omi Imazu. I heard that it has a long history, but the building is quite modern. It is located just in front of Shiga Bank and 5~6 minutes’ walking distance from JR station. On the first floor is a shop, so I first couldn’t find the restaurant, but the r...estaurant entrance is inside the shop. Eel is not a cheap dish in Japan. So even for lunch, it costs over $20. But it is really tasty.

I purchased a lunch box with grilled eel, and had a quick bite in a cold platform. As the eel melted on the tongue, I wished I had had enough time to sit back and enjoy eel in Nishimoto Restaurant.

琵琶湖西部に展開する、鰻料理をお惣菜販売の店ですが、和食レストランも運営しており、こちらはその一つ。ひつまむしやせいろ蒸しといった、鰻料理が堪能できます。 店内は明るく清潔で活気があり、それだけでもいい印象です。『鰻料理』であるだけに、やはり値段ははりますが、ふっくらとした鰻は、丁寧に拵えられたことが分かります。お惣菜としては京都や大阪でも購入できますが、食事処としては近江今津の二店舗だけ。琵琶湖周遊の旅の途中で、ちょっと贅沢な食事をしたい時に立ち寄るといいかもしれません。 It is a Japanese restaurant serving eel dishes. If anything..., the business of the company that operates this restaurant is mainly sales of prepared dishes. The restaurants where you can eat eel dishes are only two located near Omi-Imazu Station. As you know, the price of eel dishes are high generally. But, those eels are prepared fastly, their crispness is very plump. The inside of the restaurant is bright and clean, their serving staffs were polite and lively. When you'd like to eat a little luxurious meal around Lake Biwa, it is one of recommended restaurant!
