One of the worst dining experiences of our entire trip, not a restaurant for visitors to Kyoto. This is a small restaurant and even though our server was kind and helpful, restaurant is not friendly to non-Japanese people. We were sat next to a family with a baby that screamed the entire time we w...ere having dinner; the restaurant staff did not even acknowledge our experience and never once attempted to ensure that the rest of their patrons who were also paying for their food and out for an evening were able to enjoy their meal. Also, at the end of the meal when we asked for a cab, they said they were unable to get us one since it was very busy time with tourists (we walked out and were able to hail a cab in 30 seconds). There are great restaurants in Kyoto who are very happy to have your business, this is not mine if them!

Delicious food. Small restaurant must book. Lovely lovely staff. The food is delicious with an Italian touch. Very good pizza. Actually probably the best in Kyoto. Thank you.

I tried basil pasta (8/10). Delicious, tasty but pretty expensive and needs to be bigger. Smoked salmon (8/10). Anchovy pizza (9.5/10). The best in Kyoto.

After almost 2 weeks in Japan hunting down vegetarian food and eating a lot of tofu and vegan cuisine...we just wanted cheese! I heard that this was authentic Italian pizza in Kyoto, so I had to try. It did not disappoint. It was seriously good pizza, and they were willing to do substitutions (no a...nchovy, etc). But they only take cash, so be prepared.
