“Good food, grouchy service, smokers”
Picked this hole in the wall place next to ritz carlton where i am staying. 6 counter seats and 12 table seats. Alas i got the former. Nobody speaks english here so my hotel made the reservation and discussed the omakase menu with them, set at 7500Y budget Chefs don't look friendly and the waitress... definitely wasn't either. And she didn't even bother to refill my tea. Didn't bother changing or clearing my plates either The food is not bad, but 1 steamed fish cooked in broth had too many bones and broth was super salty. The sashimi platter also had too many chewy white fish which i didn't like. No fatty tuna Both tables also decided to smoke, lessening my experience further The food is not bad. To get a michelin star, they need to change the waitress and have a no smoking policy
