“Poor business practices”
We were the only customers that evening. Food was ok, but expensive. Then they added a mystery service charge to the bill subtotal. We challenged them on the charge since it was not stated anywhere. They claimed it is normal practice. We will never visit again, there are many more reasonably price...d and tasty restaurants in Ashiya. Beware that the restaurant is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

“Good Food - Slooooooooow service”
Really good food - a lot of thought went to their menu. We ordered a prix fixe menu. We were not disappointed. Started off with an amuse-bouche, a caviar topped bite of pate. Appetizer consisted of four bites (nothing special), salad was unique. Topped with crab, they had a medley of different v...egetables with different textures all together. Their pasta was well done and their main meat dish was a Japanese steak that was done properly. No elevator, on the third floor. Must use stairs. No parking however paying parking is behind the building. Be prepared to take three hours from entering the restaurant to paying the bill. This was the only distraction to a good meal. Will we come again, if we have the time - definitely.
