“Traditional Japanese Restaurant”
We tried Kagonoya as it offers traditional food and enough tables to seat 8 people in one place. The restaurant must hold 60+ at one time which marks it as large in Japan. There is parking below. You'll remove your shoes at the entry using a locker for storage. There are two menus - one for hot plat...es and the other for set meals. They offer fish, chicken, beef and pork options ranging from udon to sushi to grilled meats. The service was fast! I had the oysters and sushi and was very pleased with the presentation and flavor. Prices are a little higher than for a smaller restaurant. There were 8 of us - mixed foreign and Japanese - and everyone was happy with their choice. .

“Not bad....”
Ok, I’ve been here a few times, only once by choice. The other times were for family gatherings. The atmosphere is good I guess with semi private tables. But for the price I think the food is very average. Not bad..,but not good. I think the course we chose was 4,500 yen per person plus tax? ...There are plenty of good food to be had elsewhere for that money. But if you want a large table for a large family then this might be the place?
