Unfortunately, we had to cut our meal short due to feeling unwell, but the kindness and professionalism of the staff made a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the food we did get to enjoy was clearly crafted with care. When we let them know we had... to leave early, they went above and beyond to make things right, showing true hospitality. Though we didn’t get the full experience this time, their generosity ensures we’ll be back again. Highly recommend for both the food and the service!

We had an lovely omakase experience at one Michelin star restaurant Sushi Yuden to begin our Japan holiday - i would highly recommend booking well in advance as they only seat 9 people. They have two dinner sessions at 5:30pm and 8:15pm. We booked this around one month before using pocket concierge ...via American Express which was easy to use and you prepay. For 28,330 yen per person for the omakase, you get around 25 courses (including starters and dessert). You are definitely full afterwards and it’s a fair price for one-Michelin food and service. Whilst the menu and nigiri options change slightly depending on seasons and what Chef Nishimura desires, the menu for us consisted of japanese abalone, a generous amount of uni (sea urchin) and toro which were some of the highlights. I really enjoyed this omakase experience - I personally prefer nigiri focused omaskases, which this experience fulfilled for me so we were very happy. You could tell the quality and the freshness of all ingredients - as they are sourced fresh each morning from the market. Whilst Chef Nishimura does not speak a lot of English, he and his team (himself, his apprentice sous chef and one waiter) made a big effort to talk to everyone and explain what we were eating and what each fish was. There was no pretentious nature about Nishimura, he was incredibly humble - and even took the time to chat with my mother and I after everyone had left for half an hour which was a testament to his down to earth character. We really appreciated him taking the time to talk to us as well as the rest of the team. He even took us by surprise by taking the back exit to come to the front of the restaurant to bid us farewell. I will note that in the dark, it was a bit hard to spot the restaurant as there is not a lot of signage and in a quiet area so I would suggest using photos of the front of the store from reviews to help! Thank you Chef Nishimura and team for an excellent omakase experience and helping me celebrate my graduation with a lovely commemorative cake for dessert!

Start to finish, the best Sushi meal I have ever eaten. 10 out of 10 experience. The fish, the ambiance, the staff were all unbelievable. This place is how sushi should be, after eating sushi all over Japan Sushi Yuden in well underrated. Just book it and enjoy, I bet you will not be disappointed.
