“Fabulous Italian Restaurant in the heart of Kyoto”
My sis-in-law and I were in Kyoto on a girls trip, and since I'm vegetarian we looked for a different cuisine. We are so glad we went to Stars n Cacio! Besides every morsel we consumed being outstanding, what made the evening extra special was this feeling of being made to feel like family not just ...by the owner chef (who is clearly so talented and humane), but also every single person who waited on us. We even went back the next day for 'happy hour' so we could gorge on some of their out of this world gelato!

“One of our best meals in Kyoto!!”
Amazing meal! The staff was very friendly and attentive! They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing dining experience! By far one of our best and favorite dining experiences in Kyoto. We enjoyed the use of fresh ingredients from Italy and Japan. The desserts, particularly the mango tart,... tiramisu, and trio of cookies were all incredible.

“Amazing italian restaurant”
Had the most wonderful experience at Stars’n Cacio. The entire staff was phenomenal and all of the ingredients are sourced from areas of Japan / Italy. The food was incredible and had a great time catching up with the chef. The perk is his dog Gaia. Highly recommend you stop by during your trip to K...yoto

“Friendly staff, overpriced food ”
The waiters were very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and they put a lot of effort into explaining the food and where it's coming from. We weren't overly impressed with the food though. The 30+€ lasagne was pretty ordinary and lacked salt. The 100€ beef was pretty fatty, which both of us didn't li...ke. That is probably a matter of taste though. The owner was grumpy and didn't bother to say a single word when removing the empty plates. All in all, we have had better for less in the previous days.

“Taste of Italy in the center of Kyoto! Outstanding!”
I have been in Japan 2 weeks and 2 more to go. Coming from an Italian family, I was dying for some amazing Italian food and I got it!! From the wine to the homemade lasagne and seabass appetizer, .. all 5 star. Great European ambiance & Music ❤️ I felt transported. Grazie Mille
