北新地駅の西側にある雑居ビルの3階にあるカレー専門のレストランで、毎日のように行列が出来る程の人気店です。店内はあまり広くなく、席数も20席程度です。少ないスタッフの数で切り盛りしているため、大人数での利用は控えた方がいいでしょう。 鯛と鶏の出汁とスリランカ産のスパイスを活用したカレーで、比較的クセが強い香りが印象的です。それは味も勿論で、一口・二口分を口に含んだだけであれば賛否が分かれそうですが、食べれば食べる程、味わい・香り共に「クセになる」感覚で満たされていくのを感じました。シャバシャバしてとろみが全くと言っていい程ないルウと、水分をしっかり抜けさせ、食感もしっかりあるドライカレーの2種...類があり、いずれもトッピングにしっかりマッチしています。標準ではパクチーがトッピングされていますが、苦手な人はパクチー抜きで注文することも出来ます。 前述の通り少ないスタッフの数で切り盛りしているものの、それをわきまえているからか、どのスタッフも必要以上にあたふたすることなく、確実で丁寧な接客対応で非常に好印象でした。 This is a curry-focused restaurant located on the third floor of a small multi-tenant building on the west side of Kitashinchi Station. It's extremely popular, with long lines forming almost every day. The interior is compact, with seating for around 20 guests, and it's operated by a small team, so visiting in large groups is best avoided. The curries are made using sea bream and chicken stock combined with Sri Lankan spices, resulting in a distinctive and fairly strong aroma. The flavor is equally bold: after just one or two bites, opinions may be divided, but the more you eat, the more the taste and aroma become deeply addictive. There are two main styles available—one is a very thin, almost soup-like curry with virtually no thickness, and the other is a well-dried curry with a firm, textured bite. Both pair exceptionally well with the available toppings. Cilantro is included by default, but it can be omitted upon request for those who dislike it. Despite being run by a small staff, the team appears well aware of their capacity and works calmly and efficiently. Their service is consistently polite and reliable, leaving a very positive impression overall.
