“Tourist trap if ever there was one”
After travelling for 2 weeks we arrived hungry and we're they had a 5 course fixed my with minimum of a drink apiece. Funny that there were locals that had menus but.. Anyway the food portions were very small, rather mediocre and not cheap. Wine was table quality at best and a rather small pour. ...My recommendation would be to avoid and go elsewhere

“Good pasta but smaller and smaller amount. If you are a young lady, you might be well treated.”
I used to go there, often for lunch. The pasta are good, but overall the quantities are smaller, and going small and smaller ; especially regarding the so-called "dessert" which is becoming a joke, and becoming more and more like a small biscuit... maybe the consequence of the inflation... The funny... thing is the attitude of the male owner/ main chef, which seems quite proud of himself: when a male customer sits at the counter, he barely talks and rarely says "thank you / good bye" (which is quite rare in such places in Japan) // but when a woman/ group of women comes, he starts to smile, engage conversations, almost as for a flirt... Another annoying point: sometimes, the staff is disturbing you while you are just eating your paster, to push you, to take an extra coffe with your dessert. Last time I almost suffocated...Guys please don't rush in so much! Seems the assistants/staffs are a little bit under pressure to be efficient; you can feel some tension.
