This buffet was fantastic! The king crab was really huge and meaty. At first, the two of us thought we could eat two, but surprisingly, just one was already more than enough — we were so full! The dessert was delicious, the service was great, and the food came out very quickly. Definitely worth it!

Totally fake ratings! Incredibly expensive! The actual price is written in small Japanese, so we were shocked when the bill came. Apparently melted butter or mayo is not included in the all you can eat. Boring setting and disgusting wine. Costs like a vintage LV bag.

An excellent place for crab and seafood. So many items on the menu. The price is right! Will be back next time I am in Kyoto.

I stumbled upon Kani Gin while wandering around Kyoto’s Kawaramachi area, and what a lucky find! I wasn’t even planning on eating crab, but once I saw the sign for an all-you-can-eat king crab experience, I couldn’t resist—and I’m so glad I didn’t. The crab was incredibly fresh and delicious, with e...ndless options to try it grilled, steamed, or in a hot pot. Each bite was better than the last! The atmosphere was cozy with a traditional Kyoto feel, and the staff were super friendly, keeping the food coming and making sure I was comfortable. Even though it’s a bit of a splurge, it was totally worth it for such high-quality crab. If you’re exploring Kyoto and want a memorable food experience, definitely give Kani Gin a try—I’m already planning my next visit!
