“Delicious Japanese experience”
Excellent option to have an a real Japanese culinary experience and good price . Shabushabu it’s great ! Thank you so much !

“Good eats!”
We stayed in the hotel around the corner and were looking for some vegetarian food. We have visited the same hotel before and knew we could get some options here and indeed we got a small rice set, some tempura, salad and chips and it was great. The restaurant is cozy, the staff friendly, not expens...ive at all and we will be back to try some more options during our stay :)

“Good value comfort food but that's about it......... ”
We ate here twice during our stay in Kyoto, as it was near our accomodation. We had different Japanese ala-carte items for the 1st dinner & a Shabu-Shabu buffet the 2nd time round. This is a mid range chain-restaurant, so don't expect too much in taste & quality. The ala-carte food was fine but no...t great. The Shabu-Shabu buffet has 2 set options, with a more expensive set with additional items. There were few soup options, which one is entitled to choose two. Free flow of hot/cold tea. We opted for the standard one which comes with thinly sliced pork & beef. This Shabu-Shabu tasted better than the ala-carte meals. Verdict: The food is not that great as expected of a chain restaurant but it is not that bad either. Comfort food indeed. I would rate it as "Good" instead of Average or Very Good. Worth a try, especially the Shabu-Shabu buffet .
