My husband had a craving for Ramen and we found ourselves at Kotan, staff were lovely and efficient, it's an open kitchen so you can see your dish being prepared. Husband ordered the Ramen with roast pork belly and I the vegetables. It was described on the menu as "lots of veg" and was certainly p...acked full of veggies, but also some prawn - I'm not vegetarian so it didn't matter but do check if this is an issue for you. We chose the miso broth as the base. Husband also ordered a portion of friend rice which he declared was one of the best he's tasted. Portions are quite large and I did leave some of the noodles.

It was great they have a set menu consisting of ramen + fried rice + 4 pcs of gyoza which is great for my wife and me to share. You should also order their dessert of almond+sesame balls. Delicious !

We were staying very close to Namba City-Namba Nankai Station. And on one evening we strolled around the area after a long tiring day in the Universal Studio. We found this gem among other restaurant in the Namba City area. The ramen is good, included the chicken karaage. Yet they have array of foo...d on their menu, so it is really recommended for a nice dinner with family with different taste.

I, was at their outlet that is along the Namba Walk and nearer to the Nipponbashi Station. English menu is available and the staff spoke the language well, as well as able to answer queries Big bowl of ramen and full of ingredients. I, like their style that lots of vegetables are added, other than... the usual bbq pork. I, also like the combination of a side dish with the ramen main dish. As an example, you can have the fried dumpling or fried rice with the ramen. Choosing such combination, saves you money. They have good side dishes.Btw, the cost is a tad cheaper than similar outlets anywhere. The ramen was really tasty and so are the side dishes.I would recommend this place to everyone.
