“Nice place”
Locals called several places for reservations and they were all booked up. They finally called here. Service was good. It's somewhat a bar so a drink order for each person was required (can be non-alcholic). The food was good but not the best on the trip. Affordable.

“Hidden gem.....best food in Kyoto!!!!”
This was a great little find. The staff were friendly, it was a relaxed atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious!!! We were so impressed we went back the next night!!!! Highly recommended!!!

just now Amazing food!! Me and my husband found this place by accident but it was so good we went back the next night! Lovely friendly staff too. Will definitely be going back when we're in Kyoto again.

“Ridiculous okonomiyaki ”
Great shop. Keep coming back year after year. Several locations in town. This one is on the second floor a couple of buildings south of the loft. Okonomiyaki is a savory battered cake. Fun and filling. They cook it for you and bring it to your table where it stays on on the grill top. Takes a... little while to get there so enjoy your beer. They are filling, but you can order an appetizer. English menu now available. Nice staff.

Good food with great variety at a reasonable price. Genuine Japanese clientele & food; not a tourist trap.
