Breakfast places that open early are not easy to find in Osaka. You will discover a few recommended cafes but they normally open around 9pm. As there were several reviews that rated it badly, we went there with average expectations. Perhaps because of that, we had a better experience than others. We... were at the cafe around 8ish am and were promptly seated at the back of the cafe. Our orders were taken and food arrived not long after. The curry toast was something unique and I tried that, If you tried Japanese curry before, just imaging a toast topped with the gravy. It is not bad but may not suit everyone. Coffee was ok. Maybe it was because we were early and they were not rushed. Overall, I would recommend the place if you need an early breakfast fix. As mentioned, there are not many places open for breakfast before 9am in Osaka near Dotombori area.

This morning, my family of 4 when to Osaka nice looking old coffee breakfast place, upon entrance, met a busy serving Jap girl, b4 we say anything, "no table, wait outside" . Told her cold outside, request to be seated in. "No, no, please stand outside". I walked along the cafe, n saw an empty table... for 4. Waited for awhile, still nobody occupying that table.
