J．S． BURGERS CAFE神戸umie店

I used to eat the Lobster roll long time ago in Kobe. when they had a small stand just near the Daimaru department store . It was supper tender and great test. This shop’s closed but lucky I found it on the second floor of Umie building so I ordered the same menu ‘a regulat one’. It took me about 15... minutes to had it but it turned out that the lobster meat and the bread is cold and the lobster is a bit hard. I will not give up because I like their lobster rolls I hope they will be more careful and do it more better next time.

A "California-style" burger restaurant located in the Umie Shopping Mall, near the 2nd floor pedestrian overpass to the companion Mosaic complex at Kobe Harborland. After a long walk exploring the harbor area, I decided to have dinner at the place, since also I was craving a good hamburger. Being ...my first time here, I played it safe with the standard "J.S. Burger" with a side of fries. The meat patty and topping were thick, including a nicely grilled fresh onion slice, as well as "homemade BBQ sauce" that tasted more like chili. However, the addition of avocado slices kinda ruined the overall taste to me, and made it even more messier to eat. Also, the amount of fries was smaller than expected, and quality was about the same as the usual American fast-food fare. If I'm ever in the area again in the future, I'll have to try a different burger without the avocados and a different side. That lowered my rating by one. At the time of my visit, there were also seasonal menu items, like the unusual and potentially very messy "California Apple Pie Burger", as well as different types of sandwiches, salads, and sides. The place will satisfy one's cravings for a good hamburger, but the focus is on the avocados.
